Christmas Card TIME!!

Well, I have finally begun my Christmas cards.  The stamp is one that I bought at Michaels last year at the end of the season when everything was marked down.  I used a punch, borrowed from my Mother in Law, to make the branches. I glittered the bird and most of the branches. One card down and like, umm, twenty more to go....LOL!

Birthday Card

This is a birthday card I made for a lady that works for my husband.  Tell you the truth I made another one and I didn't like how it came out so I threw this card together really really fast!! I think the frame is from Sentimental  and the Happy Birthday is from Celebrate with Flourish.

Halloween Wreath

I was at Pink Cricut's blog (which I love!!!) and saw her video for a Halloween wreath and I had to try it out. I did it a little different just because of the thing I had and my kids were stopping me a million times that day. The stamps and most of the embellishment are things I picked up at Michaels last year on clearance. and the paper was Studio G pack I got at Walmart for .97 cents. The other paper was scraps fro K&C Company Halloween Paper from last year.

Finally!!

I haven't posted anything in a really long time and I finally have something to post.  I really thought that with my three kids home for the summer and watching my brothers three kids I would have extra time to craft. Right? Well maybe not but this weekend I made a crayon wreath that I saw on the Cricut Message board.   Misty from It's Only Money posted it and I really wanted to try it out. I cut school letters out from Batman cartridge and the apple and school is cool is from locker talk.  The crayons are from My Community.  So I pretty much followed her directions. The one thing I really did different was the middle. I bought a roll of dry erase sticky back (also bought chalk board too) from Michaels. I used the 8 in embroidery hoop to make a circle and I cut the dry erase and thick cardboard. That is what I used for the middle. I am really impressed with how this turned out and I have to say thanks to Misty for the great idea.

Husband 30th Bday

I started a Waterfall card last night for my husband's birthday and I really like the card but I think it might be too plain for what I had hoped for.  I got the Waterfall card idea from Crafty Kate at Cards on the Fly .  She has a video on her blog that is super easy to follow.  I will probably send this card to work with my Hubby and maybe make him another for him to open at dinner tonight. Well, here goes.  I followed Crafty Kate measurements and most of the paper is scrap paper except the pattern paper.  That came from a huge pack of 180 paper that I got at Michaels. I think the brand is Me and My Big Ideas. On the little tabs are stamps that I colored or stickled. Brads and ribbon, I got at Michaels. I really like the Waterfall card design.

Wedding Card

I have been working on a wedding card for a couple of weeks now. My Brother In Law is getting married and I have been thinking of all kinds of ideas for a card.  I decided to try of shape card, mostly because of jitterbuggin' challenge. I really don't know how I feel about this card but it took me so long to make I had to post it.  I took the wine bottle and glass from Simply Charmed and spent one whole day messing around on Design Studio with it. After I got all the cuts, I cut out Celebrate from Simply Charmed too.  I used Stickles again. ( Imagine that) The pink embellishments are from Michaels and the Ribbon is from Wal-Mart. Sorry no inside yet!

Happy Birthday Daddy

My Dad's Birthday is on Monday and with this card, I plan on making him some chocolate covered pretzels.  I usually do not make very mushy cards (I am just not a mushy person) but I had a very hard time coming up with a card. That was until I saw this picture on Graphic Fairy. Right away I knew that caption should be Happy Birthday Daddy.  I used left over pattern paper from Creativity, Inc. from the "foof-a-la" paper pad. I cut out the frame from Heritage and the heart border is from Storybook. All the accents are from Michaels which was probably in their dollar bin.

Valentine's

So I only have half of these done when Jaclynne came home from school and told me that her party is Friday! Friday, why? Valentine's Day is Monday, am I missing something.  Well, lucky for me, my husband was working late so I worked my butt off to get all of these done.  She need 14 but she wanted one so I made 15. Then one for the teacher. So I guess I really made 16. I used the Create a Critter cartridge and pulled put my scrap drawer and pretty much just dug thru it to find paper.  The stamps are Recollection Celebrate Spring set which I love. So of them have pieces from K&C Company Valentine's Tags. I also used lots of Stickles because I LOVE them.

100th day of school Tshirt

Jaclynne had her 100th day of school celebration and she need to design a shirt.  This is what we came up with.  We used fabric remnants from Jo-Ann's and the flowers are glued on the Tshirt. She really loved it.

I used Create a Critter on the card. Of course I had to use Stickles too. I just love Stickles. I also used ink to make the pink cheeks. The pattern paper is Simply Fun by reminise that I found at Michaels. Now I usually do not buy any of my craft supplies unless I have a coupon or it is on sale but boy paper is very hard to find. When I saw the monkeys and dinosaurs and even the rockets in this paper, I bought it. Ever thing else is scraps which I have a feeling I will never get thru!!

Finally DONE!!

I have been working on this for a couple of weeks now.  I bought two 12x18 painter canvas at Michaels and decided that I was going to make some picture collages for my living room. I used pattern paper from DCWV The Vintage Collage Stack and ripped it in half. I made all the pictures black and white and  cut “Our Family” from the Heritage cartridge. As for the stamps, they are TPC Studio Playful Expressions Clear Stamps bought once again from Michaels.  The tree at the bottom was also cut from Heritage but I added the little flower that are Celebrate It Occasions Handmade D├ęcor Flowers and I used Stickles in the middle.  I think this turned out really well. I definitely plan on making a bunch for my house now.

My Pink Stamper Blog Hop

I decided to try the My Pink Stamper's first Blog hop. Rules were simple: either use a My Pink Stamper stamp or use the color PINK.  Since the stamps are still on my WISH list, I made a card using the color Pink. I used the Hello Kitty Salutations Cartridge and both stamps are Recollections Celebrate Spring set. The flowers are Prima. The main paper was in a pack I got from Walmart for $5.00 and the ribbon and pink paper were actually in my scrap drawer. Of course I added some glitter too.

New Idea

Well I have a new idea for some decorations for my house.  I bought painter canvas and I am going to try to make a wall hanging with pictures of the kids. Hmmm...Also Jaclynne has requested valentines this year with dogs on them so I have to come up with an idea. I guess first I must get rid of this headache so I can get started.
